Too green for me?

Ok, up to now I have not mentioned that, in some "green" establishments, throwing out the garbage requires more thought than I ever gave to throwing out garbage. Paper here, plastics here, this there and those over there. My head spins. Now,
We have this under our bathroom sink and a tradional waste basket next to the toilet. So I ask you, where would you put used facial tissues? Thank you in advance for your help.

World's shortest river

The "D" river. We just drove over it in Lincoln City OR.

Dunes

Sun, wind, sand, surf. It's too windy for me so I'm staying in the car while Andy explores.

Marionberries - A PacNW Gem

I first heard about this fruit when listening to a radio show on the Martha Stewart channel. I bought a slice of Marionberry pie last night at Shari's (sort of like a Bakers Square for us in NE OH). I just tasted it now while Andy drives us to Florence OR. The pie is great. It tastes like a cross between a blueberry and blackberry. Look like a blackberry with flavor of a blueberry. Yum-eee!

Slacking. Sorry

Yes, we driven far and wide with no cell service in many areas. Awesome sites in Olympic National Park, Forks (home of "Twilight"), and Crater Lake.

Bye Seattle

Ok, I may have been a little harsh. Maybe I was not feeling well. Seattle isn't all that bad. Our time was short but we were able to understand more about this city than we ever knew. I am willing to come back and spend more time. At least four days is needed to take time to leisurely enjoy this city. I would return even though the weather is worse than NE OH. Redmond is really nice too and the IKEA is supersized. And that was without seeing the showroom!

IKEA

Indoor parking. Indoor loading zone. Huge cafeteria. Carts for loading food trays to take to your table. It was listed as a tourist attraction on the highway. Not only is this one close to two airports, it's also conveniently located by casinos. Thank you, honey!

A Different World

Drove through Bellevue and Redmond. Very green - lots of landscaping - pine trees, ivy completely covering walls. Many people walking or waiting for public transportation. Microsoft buildings all around. Saw sign for Building 99. Number of office buildings with Mission style look. No one over the age of 25 visible for miles on the streets.
