McDonald Ranch House 10.04.2008 - White Sands Missile Range, NM

Bus rides were available from the Trinity Site to the McDonald Ranch House (about 3,400 yards away). This is the location where they assembled the plutonium in preparation for the first atomic bomb test. As you can see, the house withstood the blast pretty nicely.
